At least six civilians were killed and several others injured on Friday when a drone strike targeted the market in the city of Wad Banda, West Kordofan State.
Multiple sources told Darfur24 that the attack occurred while people were gathered inside the market, causing deaths and injuries among traders and shoppers.
The city of Wad Banda, which is under the control of the Rapid Support Forces, has recently witnessed repeated drone attacks targeting various sites.
Wad Banda is considered one of the most important localities in West Kordofan due to its strategic location and commercial significance.
