The Public Prosecution revealed on Saturday the assassination of the Chief Prosecutor of North Kordofan State, Al-Tijani Adam Sabi.
The Public Prosecution said in a statement that Al-Tijani “answered the call of his Lord, as he was assassinated by treacherous and cowardly hands after a career full of giving.”
It noted that the deceased was an example of integrity, loyalty, and dedication to duty, and played a steadfast role in consolidating the values of justice and protecting rights.
It stated that Al-Tijani devoted his efforts sincerely to serving his country and his people, particularly in the states of North Kordofan, Blue Nile, and North Darfur.
Activists on social media reported that Al-Tijani was shot dead by unknown assailants inside his home in Al-Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan State.
