About 13 members of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) were allegedly killed, and others were injured in a drone strike targeting a convoy of military vehicles in a village west of Forbaranga in West Darfur State on Friday.
Sources told Darfur24 that a military drone, believed to belong to the Sudanese army, carried out the air raid as the RSF convoy was moving through the area.
According to the sources, the strike killed 13 RSF members and wounded several others, in addition to destroying several military vehicles transporting the fighters.
The attack is the third drone strike reported in West Darfur State within the past 24 hours.
