Sudanese Prime Minister Kamil Idris issued a decree on Tuesday appointing five new ministers to his government.
The decision included the appointment of Professor Ahmed El-Tijani Abdel Rahim El-Mansouri as Minister of Animal and Fisheries Resources; Khaled El-Eiser as Minister of Culture, Information, and Tourism; Nour El-Daim Mohamed Ahmed Taha as Minister of Minerals; Moatasem Ahmed Saleh as Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare; and Saif El-Nasr El-Tijani Haroun Jaber as Minister of Infrastructure and Transport.
The Prime Minister confirmed that the appointments came after a careful review of national competencies and expertise.
This brings the number of ministers appointed to date to fifteen.
