Dilling, August 29 (Darfur24)
Three civilians were killed and 14 others, including women and children, were injured on Friday in drone strikes on the city of Dilling in South Kordofan State, according to local sources.
Sources in Dilling told Darfur24 that the drones, believed to be operated by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N), targeted civilian areas.
The strikes hit three vehicles carrying food and other goods—one in Al-Toumat neighborhood, another in front of the Dilling court, and a third inside the city’s market, the sources said.
Several vehicles were burned, and the goods they were carrying were damaged, they added.
The attack comes amid worsening security and humanitarian conditions in Dilling, where repeated drone strikes and artillery shelling have targeted civilian areas, killing and injuring dozens of people.
