Jebelein, April 02 (Darfur24)

A drone strike on Al-Jebelein Hospital in White Nile State killed and wounded several civilians, including medical personnel, on Thursday, according to local sources, in one of the latest attacks affecting civilian facilities amid ongoing fighting.

A local official told Darfur24 that at least six people were killed instantly, including Dr. Hamed Suleiman Al-Nour and Dr. Ilham Hamed, while others, among them women, children, and medical staff, were injured. He noted that the toll remains preliminary as casualty counts continue.

An eyewitness said a drone fired three missiles at the hospital, causing casualties among patients and triggering panic across the city, with explosions heard for more than half an hour.

In a separate incident, sources in Kosti reported that a drone struck the headquarters of the 18th Division and the nearby Al-Nasr neighborhood, killing more than nine soldiers and injuring others.

Neither the Sudanese army nor the RSF has commented on the incidents.

The attacks come amid ongoing conflict between the two sides, where drones are increasingly used in strikes affecting both civilian and military sites.
