January 22, 2025 El-Geneina – Darfur24Eyewitnesses told “Darfur24” that several employees of foreign organizations operating in El-Fasher, the capital of North Darfur State, began leaving the city hours before “RSF” deadline for the Sudanese Army to leave the city.

RSF had given Army fighters and Armed Movements 48 hours, ending Wednesday evening, to leave military areas before launching an attack on the city.

Eyewitnesses mentioned that several foreign organization employees left El-Fasher on Wednesday, using cars bearing foreign organization logos.

The eyewitnesses added that there was a cautious calm in the city, with empty streets, and some citizens left their homes for neighboring areas.

Pro-RSF websites reported the surrender of a Joint Forces Commander with the rank of colonel along with a force consisting of 7 military vehicles, but “Darfur24” could not independently verify this information.
