Dilling, February 27(Darfur24) Several neighborhoods in the city of Dilling, South Kordofan State, were bombed by drones believed they belonged to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). The drones targeted a number of civilian homes, but no deaths or injuries were reported, according to local sources.
A health services employee in the city told Darfur24 that the drones hit homes in the Al-Taraf neighborhood in the north of the city, as well as the Al-Madaris neighborhood in central Dilling, yesterday. The attack caused widespread panic among residents, particularly women and children, due to the loud explosions that heard in populated areas.
Sources confirmed that the bombing resulted in material damage, including the partial and complete destruction of homes, but no casualties, mitigating fears among residents.
In a related development, reports indicated that drones targeted Sudanese army positions in Abu Jubaiha, including the headquarters of the 10th Division and another site on the outskirts of the city.
Dilling has been subjected to frequent drone attacks since the army announced the lifting of the siege, resulting in dozens of deaths in recent months.
