Damazin, November 10 (Darfur24)
Eyewitnesses reported on Sunday that the city of Damazin in the Blue Nile region has been subjected to a series of drone attacks over the past two days, targeting multiple neighborhoods and causing injuries to several residents.
The aerial bombardment sparked widespread panic and fear among civilians.
According to eyewitnesses, drones struck the city’s skies late Saturday night and resumed attacks at dawn Sunday, hitting densely populated residential areas, including the airport neighborhoods and Arkawit, north of Al-Nujoum Square.
Resident Aisha Ibrahim told Darfur24 that the repeated attacks over three consecutive days have left at least three people injured, who were transported to Damazin Hospital for treatment.
She added that the explosions caused heightened anxiety among children and women, noting the absence of any prior warning or preventive measures.
