At least three civilians were killed and more than ten others injured on Wednesday evening when a drone struck residential neighborhoods in the city of Al-Rahad, North Kordofan State.
Witnesses told Darfur24 that the attack targeted the eastern part of the city, causing panic among residents who rushed to seek shelter in their homes.
Ali Omar Mohammed, a resident, said the explosions occurred during the evening hours and damaged several houses. The injured were taken to Al-Rahad Hospital for treatment.
Medical sources reported that the condition of some victims is critical, raising fears that the death toll could rise.
As of Thursday morning, no official statement had been issued regarding the attack or the party responsible for it.
