Prime Minister of the Sudan Founding Alliance Government TASIS, Mohamed Masen Al-Ta’aishi, appointed three ministers on Monday, the first step toward forming a government.
This is Al-Ta’aishi’s second decision. Earlier this month, he appointed Goni Mustafa Abu Bakr Sharif as Sudan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, a day after he was sworn in.
The Council of Ministers of TASIS government said, in a statement obtained by Darfur 24, that Mohamed Hassan Osman Al-Ta’aishi issued a decree appointing a number of ministers.
He appointed Ammar Amon Daldoum as Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Suleiman Sandal Haqar as Minister of Interior, and Alaa El-Din Awad Mohamed as Minister of Health.
The Rapid Support Forces RSF, the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North, the Sudan Liberation Movement-Transitional Council, and the Sudan Liberation Forces Alliance, along with political forces and civil administrations, had a greed on a transitional constitution after signing a political charter under which the “TASID” Alliance was formed.
