Kauda, August 5)Darfur 24)

The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N) led by Abdulaziz Adam Alhilu said its forces are not present in El Fasher, but will arrive there soon after agreeing on the foundations of coordination and joint military action with Sudan Founding Alliance (Tasis)

SPLM-N’s was responding to the joint force’s accusation , regarding the participation of the SPLM-N’s army alongside the Rapid Support Forces in the recent attack on El Fasher, North Darfur.

The movement said in a statement that it is honored to participate with any revolutionary forces fighting to liberate Sudan and rebuild it on a new foundation. However, it considered the published news to be “persistent and malicious lies, with known motives.”

The statement explained that “Tasis” is a political coalition that aims to return the Sudanese state to the “Tasis” platform to define its identity, and its system of government, and then rebuild it on a new foundation.

He added, “Consultations are currently underway between the coalition components to agree on the foundations of coordination and joint military action. After that, the SPLA will be present in El Fasher, but it is not there at all now.”

He continued, “However, we will reach El Fasher and other Sudanese cities whenever we decide to do so, and we will arrive soon.”

He accused the “Port Sudan government” and its allies of fabricating and promoting lies to distract the Sudanese people from the state of their “so-called state, which lacks legitimacy,” according to the statement.

The joint forces affiliated with the Darfur movements allied with the Sudanese army said in a statement two days ago that “it has now been confirmed that the SPLA forces, led by Abdel Aziz al-Hilu, were involved in the attack on El Fasher, participating in the siege of the city, and committing crimes against civilians,” according to the statement.
