Nairobi , February 15(Darfur 24)

Leaders of political forces and community leaders supporting the formation of a government in areas controlled by the Rapid Support Forces (RShave begun to flock to the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, to attend the signing of the political charter.

The forces forming the parallel government have decided to sign the political charter the day after tomorrow, Monday, in preparation for announcing the constitutional arrangements and the government.

Sources told Darfur 24 on Saturday that a number of political leaders, organizations, community leaders and youth have begun their travel procedures via neighboring countries to Kenya to attend the signing ceremony of the political charter.

They pointed out that most of the leaders are from areas controlled by the Rapid Support Forces, including Khartoum State, in addition to other leaders residing outside Sudan.

Several entities agreed on the political charter, including the United Civilian Forces Alliance (Qimma), the Unified Federal Party, the National Umma Party, and the Original Federal Party, in addition to the Revolutionary Front and civil and community forces.

The tasks of the parallel government are to protect civilians, provide health, education and electricity services, issue identification documents, provide humanitarian aid, and neutralize the army’s warplanes.

The step of announcing the government in areas controlled by the Rapid Support Forces raises fears that it will lead to the division of the country, while some believe that signs of division have begun in the exchange of the currency and the holding of the Sudanese Certificate exams in areas controlled by the army.
