January 27, 2025 Beida – Darfur24 A person was killed near RSF Command in Forbaranga Locality, 17 kilometers south of El-Geneina, the Capital of West Darfur State, after being shot by RSF members.
Sources told “Darfur24” that the guards at RSF Command in Forbaranga Locality opened fire on a person who attempted to sneak into the Command at night.
The sources reported that the injury was severe and led to his death before he could be taken to the hospital.
The sources indicated that the deceased person tried to sneak into one of the offices, while his companion, who managed to escape, was hiding nearby.
Forbaranga area in West Darfur, under RSF control, is witnessing an increase in armed robberies amid the spread of armed individuals using motorcycles.
