Dilling, March 30 (Darfur24)
Civilians were killed and injured after forces from the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N), allied with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), attacked the city of Dilling in South Kordofan on Saturday, local sources said.
A nurse at Dilling Hospital told Darfur24 that at least 28 injured civilians were admitted, with cases ranging from serious to moderate. The death toll remains unclear, as some victims were buried without reaching medical facilities.
Residents said the attackers advanced on the city from multiple directions, approaching several neighborhoods.
The Sudanese Armed Forces said it repelled the assault, reporting heavy losses among the attackers and reaffirming its commitment to securing the city.
The attack marks the third on Dilling this month, underscoring escalating violence and growing risks to civilians.
