Rising violence in Nyala and parts of South Kordofan has left several people dead and others injured in recent days.
In Nyala, Rapid Support Forces legal advisor Adam Yahya Al-Douma Nanna died after being shot by unidentified gunmen on Thursday evening.
A family source said he was traveling with another man when gunmen intercepted them near Al-Junaynah bus station market, opened fire, and abducted his companion along with the vehicle. Adam later died at Nyala Teaching Hospital from severe blood loss.
Relatives said the suspects were later apprehended and the vehicle recovered following a community pursuit.
The incident is part of a series of crimes in Nyala over the past 72 hours, during which Mohamed Saleh Shugar and Jibril Haroun were also killed.
In South Kordofan, Saeed Hassan Hamed was killed, and three others were injured in an armed robbery on Tuesday along the Abu Kershola–Ambarambita road.
Sources said the victims were attacked by gunmen while traveling by motorcycle to attend a wedding. The injured were taken to Karoro village for treatment, while the attackers fled despite army intervention.
Residents report increasing armed robberies along the route, reflecting deteriorating security conditions amid the ongoing conflict.
