Al-Junaynah, December 29 (Darfur24)
Chadian Foreign Minister and Minister of African Integration Abdoulaye Saber on Monday categorically rejected accusations that Chad supports the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Sudan.
Saber emphasized that Chad has never hosted any Sudanese rebel groups and dismissed claims of involvement in the ongoing conflict.
“The Sudanese people are brothers to Chad, not just neighbors,” Saber said, highlighting his country’s continued efforts to support a ceasefire and encourage dialogue aimed at ending the crisis in Sudan.
He added that Chad will persist in its diplomatic initiatives to promote peace and stability in Sudan, while preserving the country’s unity and protecting the dignity of its people.
Chad has faced repeated allegations of transferring weapons from the United Arab Emirates to the RSF and providing political support to the group, claims that N’Djamena has consistently denied.
