Nine people, including women and children, were killed and others injured as drone belived to be affiliated with Sudanese army carried out attack in West Darfur State on Friday, according to initial reports.
Local sources told Darfur24 that a drone hovered for more than an hour i El Geneina sky , the state capital, on Friday before launching two missiles, the explosions were heard in various parts of the city.
The sources indicated that one of the strikes targeted a water station in the Ardamata area, east of El Geneina, killing two women and injuring others, in addition to destroying a car parked inside the station.
The sources added that the second strike hit a car in the area east of El Geneina Airport, which was transporting a patient and his family to the hospital, killing seven people and injuring others.
