Dalami, South Kordofan (Darfur24)
Residents of the army-controlled town of Dalami in South Kordofan State say drone strikes on Sunday ended the lives of four people while wounding dozens.
Omar Ibrahim Al-Day told Darfur24 that the town recently witnessed a sharp escalation in drone strikes, resulting in civilian deaths, injuries, and growing fear among residents.
“The bombing happened suddenly, causing loss of life and property,” he said.
According to Omar, the strikes resumed on Sunday morning, with drones targeting three locations inside the city, including the Dalami army command.
Relatedly, Riyad Abdel-Baqi, another resident, told Darfur24 that drones were seen flying over the Kartala area, south of Dalami, since Sunday.
He said the continued presence of drones has left residents in a state of fear and uncertainty, worried that the attacks could soon expand to their area.
