The Prime Minister PM of the Sudanese Founding Alliance ‘s government(TASIS) Mohamed Hassan Al-Ta’aishi, was sworn in on Sunday in Nyala, South Darfur State.

This came one day after the President, Vice President, and members of the Presidential Council, including eight members holding regional governorships, were sworn in as part of the government dubbed the “Peace Government.”

The Presidential Council said in a statement that “Mohamed Hassan Osman Al-Ta’aishi was sworn in as Prime Minister.”

The swearing-in ceremony was held before the Chairman of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, and Chief Justice Ramadan Ibrahim Shamila.

Earlier on Sunday, Dagalo issued a constitutional decree appointing Al-Ta’aishi as Prime Minister following a consensus by components of TASIS” coalition

In this context, the Presidential Council of the TASIS Government held its first official session on Sunday in Nyala. During the session, the Council discussed issues related to the founding phase, including citizens’ living conditions, the provision of basic services, enhancing security and stability, and urgent humanitarian issues, according to a statement issued by the Council.

The Vice President of the Presidential Council, Abdel Aziz Adam Al-Hilu, said that the meeting addressed the roadmap for presidential action and strategic plans to complete the governance structures and address current political and economic challenges.
