Security sources reported to Darfur 24 that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) arrested four men suspected of killing a South Sudanese refugee in Abu Matariq , the capital of Bahr al-Arab locality in East Darfur State.

The security source said that the local security committee, in cooperation with the native administration, apprehended the suspects linked to the killing of refugee Long Kuol last Thursday, pending their trial.

According to the security source, the authorities will conduct an investigation with the suspects and then bring them to a fair trial after the completion of criminal proceedings.

Refugee leaders expressed their support for the move, indicating that it would be well-received by the refugees in the Abu Matariq refugee camp, emphasizing that justice would be served after the arrest of the suspects.
