The Sudan Founding Alliance (Tassis ) has formed a high-level preparatory committee to receive the alliance leaders arriving in the city of Nyala, South Darfur, as the date for the announcement of the parallel government approaches.

Sources told Darfur 24 on Sunday that the high committee includes the alliance spokesman Alaa Eldin Nugud, the head of the Supreme Council for Civil Administrations affiliated with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), Al-Nazir Younis, and the head of the RSF Advisory Council, Huzaifa Abu Nuba.

The sources revealed that the formation of the parallel government is imminent.

They indicated that three individuals, including Huzaifa Abu Nuba and Mohamed Hassan Al-Ta’aishi, have been nominated for the position of prime minister.

Other sources told Darfur 24 that the position of governor of Darfur may be filled by the head of the Supreme Council for Civilian Administrations, Al-Nazir Younis, or by one of the leaders of the Revolutionary Front Alliance.

The Rapid Support Forces, the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North, the Sudan Liberation Movement-Transitional Council, and the Sudan Liberation Forces Alliance, along with other political forces and civil administrations, reached a transitional constitution after signing a political charter under which the “Tassis Alliance was formed.

The coalition plans to announce a parallel government consisting of a 15-member Sovereignty Council, eight members representing the regions of Sudan by law, seven representatives of political forces, in addition to the prime minister and an executive government.

The establishment of the coalition was announced early July the formation of a 31-member leadership body, headed by the commander of the Rapid Support Forces, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, while Abdelaziz Adam Al-Hilu was picked as vice president.
