On Sunday, the Sudanese Congress Party accused the Rapid Support Forces(RSF )of killing civilians in the Al-Salha neighborhood, south of Omdurman, Khartoum State.
In a statement obtained by Darfur 24, the party said that RSF committed a horrific crime this morning in theAl- Salha area, deliberately killing innocent civilians in violation of all international laws and norms.
It added, “This crime is an extension of horrific violations committed against civilians across the country, exposing the brutal nature of the war.”
The party emphasized that targeting innocent, defenseless civilians has become a systematic policy aimed at terrorizing communities and dismantling the social fabric.
The Sudanese Congress Party condemned what it described as a heinous crime, holding the Rapid Support Forces fully responsible for these violations, stressing that impunity will not last.
It called for an immediate cessation of violations, ensuring the protection of civilians in accordance with international and humanitarian laws, and working to document all these crimes in preparation for holding their perpetrators accountable before national and international justice.
