Unidentified drones targeted Dongola Airport in Northern State, on Monday, where loud explosions were heard and plumes of smoke were seen rising.

Sources told Darfur 24 that the attacks were believed to have been carried out by drones, and they likely targeted a fuel depot inside Dongola International Airport, causing loud explosions and rising plumes of smoke.

Videos posted on social media showed scenes of the fire and the intervention of the Civil Defense to extinguish the raging blaze.
