The Supreme Council of Civil Administrations affiliated with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF)in South Darfur State announced on Wednesday the formation of the state’s judicial apparatus consisting of the judiciary, the prosecution, and the legal department.

The council assigned Hassan Ahmed Omar as head of the judiciary, and Abdullah Issa Musa as head of the public prosecution, in addition to assigning Drig Ali Ishaq as head of the legal department and advisor to the civilian government.

The head of the public prosecution, Mawlana Abdullah Issa, said during a press conference in Nyala that the public prosecution is independent and will work to achieve justice without influence from any other party.

He added that the public prosecution agents for the localities and specialized prosecutions will be announced in the coming days.

Meanwhile, the head of the civil administration affiliated with the Rapid Support Forces in South Darfur State, Mohamed Ahmed Hassan, directed the security and executive authorities to cooperate with the judicial apparatuses that were formed to achieve the values ​​of justice.
