Approximately four people were killed and six others injured, today, Tuesday, as a result of new artillery shelling launched by Rapid Support Forces, on Naivasha-camp Market and Abu-Shouk-Alhila neighborhood in E-l Fasher, the capital of North Darfur.
Eyewitnesses told “Darfur24” that Rapid Support Forces renewed their shelling on the Naivasha-camp Market and the Abu- Shouk neighborhood in El-Fasher, resulting in the death of four people, in addition to shells falling on a mosque in the neighborhood, causing injuries to 5 worshipers who were transferred to the health center in Abu-Shouk neighborhood in El-
Fasher.
For its part, the Emergency Room of Abu-Shouk camp for the displaced in North Darfur announced today, Tuesday, the killing of civilians, as a result of artillery shelling launched by Rapid Support Forces on the camp and some residential neighborhoods.
The Emergency Room said in a press statement that artillery shelling, targeting of civilians and civilian objects are inhumane acts that constitute a crime and a clear and explicit violation of human rights, international norms and laws.
