October 14, El Fasher — The artillery shelling launched by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on the Saudi Hospital in El Fasher, capital of North Darfur on Sunday resulted in the death of a member of the medical staff and the injury of a number of workers. The shelling destroyed the hospital buildings, which put it out of service.

A medical source at the hospital told Darfur24 that the RSF renewed their targeting of the Saudi Hospital, which is the only hospital in the city after others were shelled.

The Ministry of Health confirmed that the RSF shelled the hospital with four shells, causing the death of a member of the medical staff and injuring others.

The city of El Fasher is currently witnessing continuous artillery shelling by the RSF stationed east of the city on civilian neighborhoods, which has led to casualties among civilians and forced them to flee to Tawila locality and east of Jebel Marra.
