October 12, Um Dafuog — For the first time since the outbreak of war in April last year, medical supplies and emergency medicines reached Um Dafuog Rural Hospital in South Darfur.

Mustafa Hamza, the storekeeper at Um Dafuog rural hospital, told Darfur24 that the quantity of medicines that arrived, consisting of emergency medicines and children’s vaccinations, is sufficient for a month.

The area is suffering from a widespread malaria and has been cut off from the state capital for over four months due to heavy rains.
