October 8, Hasahisa — Sudanese army warplanes launched an airstrike on Hasahisa city in Al Jazeera state, southeast Sudan, on Monday morning resulting in the death and injury of approximately 100 people, according to Emergency Lawyers.

Hasahisa Resistance Committees confirmed that the airstrikes targeted several sites belonging to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Hasahisa, leaving civilian casualties and injuries.

“The massacres of airstrikes by the Sudanese Armed Forces continue, which included the states of Al-Jazeera, Sennar, White Nile, West and North Darfur, and North Kordofan, which led to the killing of hundreds of civilians,” Emergency Lawyers said in a statement obtained by Darfur24.
