October 6, Tina — The joint forces of armed movements, which fight alongside the Sudanese army, detained two trucks loaded with life-saving medicines and relief supplies in Tina town on the Sudan-Chad border. The trucks were on their way to civilians in Nyala, South Darfur, and Zamzam camp in North Darfur.

Eyewitnesses told Darfur24 that the joint forces of armed movements in Tina town refused to allow two trucks to leave after completing their entry procedures from neighboring Chad. Allegedly it was due to the presence of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Nyala and the Zamzam camp road.

The issue was referred to the state headquarters but the trucks are currently detained, and a general seized the vehicles papers.

Sources said the joint force is putting obstacles in the way of the flow of aid into Darfur, despite the decisions of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and North Darfur State not to intercept the aid trucks that are carefully inspected and have no violations.
