September 12, Tullus — The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) authority in Tullus town, South Darfur State has suspended the activities of educational institutions without providing any reasons.

A source affiliated with the suspended institutes told Darfur24 that a local police director working with the RSF summoned the directors of Tulus Language Institute, Dream International Academy for Health Sciences, and Tulus Youth Group for Art and Creativity, and ordered them to suspend the activities of their institutes.

He explained that the official informed them that the suspension order came according to a directive from the official of the civil administration in Tullus locality, without disclosing the reasons.

The decision to suspend the activities of the institutes sparked controversy and tension among the youth and students in the area, given that the educational institutes are the only academic outlet after schools have been halted due to the ongoing war.
