Khartoum — Army warplanes bombed the Al-Abyad and Al-Daham areas in Khartoum North, killing 10 people, most of them children, according to the resistance committee in Khartoum on Saturday. Four were injured and a number of homes were impacted.
This is the second air raid of its kind in the area since the outbreak of the war last April.
In a statement obtained by Darfur24, the committee said that the warplanes bombed Al-Fazarab neighborhood in the Al-Abyad and Al-Daham areas in the Bahri countryside.
“The warplanes are bombing the homes of defenseless and unarmed civilians who were forced by the circumstances of war to endure the worst types of living conditions,” the statement said.
The army is being accused of deliberately bombing civilian infrastructure and civilian homes in various areas of Sudan.
