A medical source at the Ministry of Health in North Darfur State said that there were civilian casualties and deaths during the renewed fighting.

The source stated in his statement to “Darfur 24” that “some of the dead and wounded arrived at the Saudi Specialized Hospital, while medical teams and Red Crescent cadres are working to count the rest of the dead and wounded and transport them to the hospital in light of the ongoing fighting and the difficulty of moving from one place to another.”
