August 6(Darfur24)The Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, said on Monday that violations and crimes against children and civilians have worsened in Sudan, especially in Darfur, stressing that those who gave the orders to commit them and those who finance them will be prosecuted and investigated.

Khana explained, in a briefing to the UN Security Council, that the situation in Sudan is deteriorating, in light of reports of rape and crimes against children, especially in Darfur.

The Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court added that the warring parties in Geneina, El Fasher and all of Sudan believe that they will escape punishment, saying, “We will investigate those who issue orders to the Sudanese forces and the Rapid Support Forces and those who assist and finance them.”
