The head of the Rapid Support Forces( RSF) Civil Administration in Central Darfur State, Abdul Karim Youssef Osman, has announced the formation of a new government in his state.
On July 15, the Rapid Support Forces picked Abdul Karim Youssef Osman as head of the Civil Administration in Central Darfur state, following the declaration of similar administrations in Al-Jazeera, South and West Darfur.
Abdul Karim Youssef Osman announced, in a press conference, the appointment of Ahmed Abdullah Manawi Bashir as Minister of Finance and Economy, Malak Abkar Yahya as Minister of Local Government, Shaima Haren Mohamed Ramila for Culture and Information, Al-Dawai Ahmed Al-Tammar for Education and Mohamed Al-Amin Rizq Allah for Health.
Abulkarim chose Talha Al-Tayeb Abdel-Rahman as Minister of Social Affairs, Al-Rashid Adam Allah Jabo for Agriculture and Forests, Mohamed Musa Abdel-Rahman for Animal Resources, and Omar Abdullah Haliou for Youth and Sports.
The post of the minister of infrastructure has remained vacant until now.
Osman called on the residents of Central Darfur state to unite, strengthen the social fabric, overcome the challenges created by the war, and reject hate speech.
Yousif Osman pledged to provide the minimum services to residents of the state.
He called on RSF law enforcement agencies to protect civilians and provide security and stability.
