The head of the civil administration in Belil locality in South Darfur state, Suleiman Ishaq Ali Juma, pledged to mantain security , order and protect the agricultural season, in addition to paying attention to the issues of the displaced people IDPs in Beliel
Addressing a public gathering after assuming his duties, Jumaa said that his government aspire for Sudan to be for everyone, without a first-class citizen and a second-class citizen.
He pledged to achieve justice among all and seek to resolve all negative phenomena that threaten the security of residents, directing to prevent law enforcement agencies to put an end to shootings and gun violence.
He continued, “After today, we do not want to fire a single shot in the Belil locality. We look forward to maintaining security, make the agricultural season a success, and prevent friction between herders and farmers.”
Meanwhile, the Sultan of all the Dajo tribes in the Belil locality, Sultan Abdul Rahman Adam, called on the head of the civil administration in the locality to treat all components of the community on equal footings.
Abo ,called for establishment of bases in areas witnessing friction between farmers in order to secure and make the agricultural season a success, in addition to encourage organizations to enter to area to provide assistance to citizens and contain the difficult living conditions.
