Military sources told Darfur 24 that Al-Bishi was killed in an air strike.
The Commander of the Special Action Forces in Sinnar State, Fath Al-Aleem Al-Hadi Al-Shoubli, reported on his Facebook account that Al-Bishi was killed “after being wounded in Thursday’s battle.”
Al-Bishi served as commander of the Rapid Support Forces sector in Blue Nile before the outbreak of the war, and the army detained him for days after it broke out before releasing him.
The dead man participated in military rapid support operations in Khartoum and Al-Jazira, before he led forces to take control of Mount Muya on June 26. A few days later, he carried out a bypass operation across dirt roads and took control of Sinja, the capital of Sennar State, before extending his forces to Al-Dindar, Kokoj, Abu Hajjar, and the villages of the state.
The Rapid Support Forces committed serious violations in the cities and villages of Sinnar State, including murder, looting of markets, shops, homes, agricultural machinery, and forced displacement.
