The head of the Civilian Establishment Council of the Rapid Support Forces in South Darfur pledged on Monday to enact new legislation that would put an end to looting and take measures to protect the agricultural season.

The Civil Foundation Council of South Darfur, consisting of 65 members, held its first meeting in Nyala yesterday, Sunday, after its formation by the Advisory Board of the Rapid Support Forces.

The head of the Civil Foundation Council, Adel Al-Malik, said that the council will put in place decisive legislation that will put an end to plunder and bandits, and will also seek to put in place the necessary measures to prevent friction between shepherds and farmers and protect the agricultural season and the herders.

He stressed that their work will be based on honesty, honesty, and sincerity to get the citizen out of this dangerous juncture that will lead to the loss of the country.

The Council called on the warring parties to sit down for dialogue and negotiation to reach a peace in which justice and equality of rights and citizenship prevail, and which ends discrimination, tyranny, racism, regionalism, and personal interests, to achieve the people’s desires and aspirations and live in freedom and prosperity.

The head of the civil administration in the state, Mohamed Ahmed Hassan, described the founding council as an integral part of their work in light of the challenges surrounding them.

He recommended that the council membership bear full responsibility in the legislative and legal aspects that help serve the people of the state.

The head of the Civil Administration affirmed his government’s commitment to implementing all decisions and directives issued by the Council.

The Advisory Body of the Rapid Support Forces formed a civil administration for South Darfur state headed by Mohamed Ahmed Hassan, who in turn formed a government consisting of 10 ministries.
