Nyala , July 13(Darfur 24)
The Emergency Room and Health Centers in South Darfur State announced that young people in the sub-rooms in the neighborhoods of Nyala responded to its call to provide water for the dialysis center.

The representative of the emergency room and health centers in the state, Engineer Othman, told “Darfur 24” that “the youth responded to their call and began providing water to the center.”

He added: “The emergency rooms in the neighborhoods will continue to support the center with water, starting from the beginning of this week.”

The emergency room began providing water to the dialysis center since Friday.

The Nyala Dialysis Center and the Nyala Specialized Hospital need a 65-barrel water tank every two days to perform dialysis operations for 60 patients receiving service at the center, including 7 patients who came from El Fasher after the dialysis center went out of service due to the ongoing war.

The Nyala Dialysis Center faces major challenges represented by a shortage of dialysis consumables, fuel and water, which prompted the acting Director General of the Ministry of Health, Abbas Hassan, to call the emergency room and health centers led by the youth of Nyala and seek their help in providing water to the center.
