Sennar – Darfur 24
An informed military source revealed to “Darfur 24” the reasons that led to the fall of Sennar State into the hands of the Rapid Support Forces.
He said that the Rapid Support Forces attacked the state with marches, but the team specialized in operating the jamming devices in the army was unable to operate the devices on time.
The Rapid Support Forces took control of the “17th” Division headquarters in Sinja, the capital of Sennar State, on June 29, after raiding the city from the Jabal Muya area in the southwest.
The battle in Sinja did not take a few hours until the Rapid Support Forces suddenly announced their control of the city.
Since the outbreak of the war, the Rapid Support Forces have relied mainly on marches before the army was able to obtain advanced jamming devices.
The source was quoted as saying that the cities of Sinja and Dinder fell for the same reasons, and no official statement was issued by the army after the Rapid Support Forces took control of the state located in the southeast of the country.
