El Geneina, July 3(Darfur 24)The Civil Administration in West Darfur State revealed that the security services monitored a gang onboard cars working to destabilize security and stability in the city of El Geneina.
During the recent period, a gang was active in the city of El Geneina, the capital of West Darfur State, on-board 3 unidentified cars, working to rob citizens during the night and shoot randomly at gatherings of citizens, which led to a number of them being seriously injured.
The head of the Civil Administration in West Darfur State, Tjani Al-Tahir Karshoum, said in press statements in the city of El Geneina that the security services, through monitoring and follow-up, discovered the presence of a gang exploiting unknown cars working to destabilize security and stability.
He stressed that the security services are closely monitoring them and that they will be arrested and resolved in the coming hours. He added, “We do not condone any group that seeks to implement a political agenda and achieve gains.”
Karshoum revealed that the curfew law was activated in order to preserve security and stability, noting that the security and property of citizens is a priority for the state government and there is no courtesy in it.
