El Fasher , June 29(Darfur 24)At least 4 displaced people (IDPs) were killed and others were injured on Saturday morning, as as RSF renewed artillery shelling on the city of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur state.

The battles for El Fasher began on May 10, after both sides of the war mobilized thousands of soldiers and fighters from movements, militias, and mobilized to fight alongside them, as a fateful battle that could determine the future of the Darfur region.

The Tambasi neighborhood emergency room said in a statement that four displaced people were killed by a shell that targeted the Ibn Sina School that shelters displaced people.
