Five people were killed and others wounded as clashes were renewed on Wednesday between the Sudanese army and allied armed movements on the one hand and the Rapid Support Forces on the other hand in the city of El Fasher.

He revealed that the number of civilians wounded due to artillery shelling on Tuesday and Wednesday’s battles had risen to about 28 people, most of whom were seriously injured requiring urgent surgical intervention.
The confrontations led to the displacement of large numbers of displaced people from Abshuk camp, north of the city, to Zamzam camp, south of the city. Muhammad Ahmed Abdullah, a member of the El Fasher emergency room, told “Darfur 24” that the city is witnessing a new state of displacement due to the continuous artillery shelling and the use of rapid support for marches that randomly target citizens. Revealing that there are challenges facing the movement of residents within the city due to the scarcity of transportation.
