El Geneina , June 25)Darfur 24) The Chadian security services have returned Sudanese camels stolen from the Masteri area, south of the city of El Geneina, the capital of West Darfur state.
The commander of the Chadian force, Saleh Abdullah, said that the camels were stolen 5 months ago from the Masteri area inside Sudanese territory, before crossing into Chad.
He pointed out that the Chadian security services continued to follow the trace of the stolen livestock until they were able to reach them, arrest the accused, and return them to their owners.
He called on the security services in both countries to work to combat thieves and negative phenomena on the border, announcing strict directives from the Chadian presidency not to tolerate those who commit theft on the border strip.
He stressed their readiness to coordinate with the Sudanese side to secure the borders from cross-border looting and theft.
