RSF Artelling shelling in El-Fasher leaves 15 civilians dead

Eyewitnesses from Abu Shouk al-Hilla, the Naivasha camp for the displaced, and the Nasr neighborhood told Darfur 24 that the indiscriminate artillery shelling launched by the Rapid Support Forces on Tuesday targeted residents ’ homes in the the IDPcamp, causing the death and injury of dozens.

The wounded ones were taken to various health centers in the surrounding neighborhoods to receive treatment, while The seriously injured were transferred to the Saudi Hospital.

Adam Ibrahim, an IDP from the Naivasha camp revealed to Darfur 24 that 11 people were killed in Naivasha, including patients’ companions who were in an outpatient clinic in “3” area of ​​the camp, in addition to the killing of another woman in one square.

Meanwhile, local sources in Al-Nasr neighborhood reported that 4 civilians were killed in the neighborhood, and at least 19 others, including children, were injured.

In this context, a medical source at the Saudi Hospital, who preferred to withhold his identity, confirmed to Darfur 24 that a number of those wounded by artillery shelling were transferred from various neighborhoods in El Fasher to the hospital, but did not mention the overall statistics of the injured.

The Darfur 24 correspondent monitored the injury of 6 citizens in the Abu Shouk Al-Hilla neighborhood, who were taken to the Saudi Hospital, in addition to the destruction of 8 homes in the neighborhood.

 

On Tuesday, the Coordination for Displaced Persons in Darfur announced the death of (5) people, including women and children, as a result of a bombing carried out by the Rapid Support Forces on the Abu Shouk camp for the displaced in North Darfur, and reported that (26) others were injured with varying injuries, in addition to the bombing causing major material losses. .
