South Kordofan. ،June 4) Darfur 24)

The communications services of the two companies (Sudani and Zain) have been cut off from most areas in South Kordofan state, including the city of Kadugli, the state capital, for the third consecutive week due to the lack of fuel and technical issues.

It is noteworthy that the city of Kadugli is still living under siege from all directions by the SPLM forces on the one hand and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on the other hand.

Residents have been complaining from high prices of basic commodities and scarcity of cash.

Zain’s telecommunications service has been suspended from the cities of “Gallouqi, Talodi, Tartar, Ambarmbita, Al-Fayd, Abu Karshula, and Al-Liri” since last December.

A source told “Darfur 24” that Sudani network service resumed work in the city of Abu Jubaiha on Monday, June 3, after a break that lasted more than six months.

Most of the cities and villages of South Kordofan suffer from high prices of goods and a scarcity in the availability of cash, as most of them depend on telecommunications networks for financial transfers through the Bank of Khartoum application “ Bankak” through the Internet “Star Link” at prices ranging from two thousand to three thousand per hour.
