At least 30 people were killed and more than 64 others were injured, Friday, as clashes renewed between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces( RSF) in several areas in the city of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur.
Eyewitnesses told Darfur 24 that the clashes between the Sudanese army, the armed movements allied with it, and the Rapid Support Forces in the southeastern axis on Friday were more violent against the city’s residents, leading to the death and injury of dozens, most of them children and women.

Darfur 24 reported that they were surprised by the clashes in the southeastern axis, with random bombs being dropped on citizens’ homes, causing the killing and wounding of dozens in various neighborhoods, including Al-Timanat, Al-Salam, and Al-Wahda.
Abdullah added that the clashes coincided with Friday prayers, causing deaths and injuries among the worshipers, including the killing of a child in the Khatam al-Anbiya Mosque, who died of his wounds in the Southern Hospital.
In this context, a medical source at the Southern Hospital, who preferred to remain anonymous, confirmed to Darfur 24 that the hospital received 30 dead today, in addition to 64 wounded as a preliminary count, expecting the death toll to rise because there are serious cases.
These days, El Fasher is witnessing the fiercest battles between the warring parties on all fronts, forcing hundreds of families to flee their homes. This is in addition to forcing the displaced in camps and shelter centers inside the city to flee in search of safety in Zamzam and Shukra camps and the Tawila locality, west of El Fasher.
