Darfur 24 has learned that the Rapid Support (RSF) Command has begun forming civilian authorities to administer governance in areas under its control in the Darfur region.
Sources told “Darfur 24” that the leadership of the Rapid Support Forces sent a delegation that included a number of political leaders and advisors, headed by Dr. Al-Hadi Dabka , to the states of Darfur to implement the task of forming civil authority.
The sources confirmed that the delegation arrived in the city of El Daein, the capital of East Darfur State, on Wednesday, and engaged in intensive meetings with military and civilian leaders to reflect the idea and vision of the leadership of the Rapid Support Forces to administer civil government and form state parliaments for legislation.
The sources stated that the delegation will also visit the states of South and West Darfur.
Last March, the Rapid Support Forces announced the formation of a civil administration for the state of Al-Jazeera in central Sudan, consisting of 31 members, headed by Siddiq Ahmed, after his election from the “Civil Founding Council” amid a large presence of symbols, civil leaders and civil society organizations in the state, according to a press release. .
