Port Sudan , April 21( Darfur 24)
On Saturday, the Sudan Liberation Movement, led by Minni Aro Minawi, decided to temporarily close its offices in areas under the jurisdiction of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
The move comes in the wake of the clashes that took place between the RSF and the joint force of armed movements allied with the army, especially the Sudan Liberation Movement, in areas in North Darfur, including Melt and Al -Fasher.
The movement’s spokesman, Al -Sadiq Ali Al -Nour, said in a statement obtained by “Darfur 24”, that the movement decided to freeze all political, organizational and media activities and temporarily close its offices in the areas controlled by RSF
He attributed the move to the recent developments and the current circumstances in the country, as the decision was taken based on the evaluation of the security and political conditions in the areas controlled by RSF.
At the end of the previous March, the Rapid Support Forces released 5 of the Sudan Liberation Movement that had previously detained them in the city of Melt, the capital of North Darfur, before undergoing their control after battles with the Darfur movements joint force.
