According to medical sources who spoke to “Darfur 24”, they confirmed that no deaths or injuries arrived as a result of the aircraft’s targeting of areas and cities in North Darfur last night.
Eyewitnesses from the city of Kabkabiya, 136 km west of El Fasher, told “Darfur 24” that the warplanes targeted the city for the first time, and fired three shells towards the headquarters of the 21st Infantry Brigade, which is controlled by the Rapid Support Forces, and the neighborhoods of Al-Hara and Al-Shati, which led to the destruction of a number of homes in the neighboring neighborhoods. to the command headquarters without any casualties.
Meanwhile, a local source confirmed to “Darfur 24” that the warplanes targeted the Rapid Support Forces concentrations in the Zarq area, and pointed to the outbreak of fires in the unpopulated area.
In the city of El Fasher, a Sukhoi aircraft fired more than 5 missiles at various locations, causing fear and panic among citizens.
The Rapid Support Forces responded with heavy anti-aircraft fire, with strong earthquakes caused by aircraft shells.
Yesterday evening, the city of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur, witnessed violent air strikes on the neighborhoods of factories, Al-Jabal, the Stock Exchange, and Mellit Gate, and a huge fire was seen towards Mellit Gate.
A source confirmed that a shell had fallen into one of the abandoned residential houses in the Abuja camp for displaced people, north of El Fasher.
Today’s raid on the city of El Fasher is the fourth this March, the seventh this year, and the tenth since the beginning of the fighting between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces in April last year.
A medical source, who preferred to withhold his identity, revealed to Darfur 24 that 45 people had been killed and 80 other civilians wounded since the start of the aerial bombardment last year inside the city of El Fasher.
